Kaego has her Master’s in Physician Assistant Practice from the University of Southern California, Keck School of Medicine. As a Physician Assistant she has been educated and trained in a variety of medical specialties and has work experience in Psychiatry, Aesthetic dermatology and Orthopedic surgery.

Her expertise and simultaneous work in psychiatry and aesthetic medicine have given her a unique perspective which allow her to understand the complex relationship between the mind and body/skin; a specialty referred to as psychodermatology. She understands how the mind (internal) can impact the perception of the physical (external) and how visible, external changes can impact the nonvisible, internal health.

Kaego’s work in psychiatry is in private practice where she provides outpatient mental wellness services, which include medication management and talk therapy. Her expertise is in mood disorders (depression, anxiety, bipolar), ADHD, OCD, sleep/insomnia. She tailors her approach to the individual and believes in the value of lifestyle modification dependent or independent of prescription medication. Her approach focuses on the combined efforts of herself and the patient to create a solution that improves their life. She is skilled in weaning patients off of medication as deemed necessary based on individual goals, growth and mental health states. She understands the sensitivity of this field and offers telemedicine appointments and e- prescribing as a more comfortable, convenient and efficient means of meeting.

In aesthetic medicine, Kaego has been trained and certified by Allergan for their master injector courses in Botox and Juvederm fillers. She approaches each face as if it were her own and strives for natural, refreshed looks with the use of neuromodulators, dermal fillers, microneedling and IV vitamin drips. She believes in a holistic approach which addresses the face from the deepest to the most superficial layers targeting structure, texture, and complexion.

Kaego believes in preventative medicine and encourages lifestyle modifications to address physical and mental concerns, however, she understands the role in which medication or minimally invasive treatments may be favorable based on the patient’s condition and expectations. Her individualized treatment plans address the unique concerns of each patient and are rooted in trust and medical integrity.
